Discovery Sessions

Every ‘joining journey’ starts with a Discovery Session. The process seems a lot, but people can attend a Discovery Session and be onboarded within a week!

Our Discovery Sessions provide us with a chance to break the ice and get acquainted. They are an opportunity for you to learn more about the HatHats values and our vision. Furthermore, you can ask us any questions that you may have! 

Although we may not currently have a suitable role advertised that fits your skills and experience, we still welcome you to attend a general Discovery Session. We enjoy meeting lovely people and building contacts, and it could lead to job opportunities as new roles pop up here at HatHats, as we continue to grow. We are, however, a really fussy bunch and look for people who have something ‘HatHats’ about them.

What does something ‘HatHats’ mean? Well, it’s quite hard to describe…it’s a special something that can’t quite be written down. But, we’ll give it a go. Someone with the ‘HatHats’ spirit has a passion for life and what they do, that is infectious. They have a willingness to learn and jump out of their comfort zone. Does this sound like you?

Well, you must also have a passion for coffee and be as obsessed about customer service as we are. You need to be prepared to help make HatHats part of the fabric of the communities that we serve.

We require all candidates to start a ‘joining journey’ with us, that looks a little something like this:

1. Book yourself onto any of our Discovery Sessions and give us your details on the day.

2. If you are successful, you will be contacted for a telephone interview.

3. If you are successful here, depending on some roles we may ask you to do a trial shift! The trial shift provides you with an opportunity to meet more of the team and see how we work.

4. Should you be successful after your trial shift, you will be offered the role and begin the onboarding process!
